Check Out The Beautiful Glenmore Mansion

Jefferson City, USA - July 8, 2013: Glenmore Mansion in Jefferson City, TN USA. The Glenmore Mansion, a victorian, antebellum house on a beautiful summer day. This gilded-age house was built by John Roper Branner, sometime after his family moved into the area in 1799. In 1882, the Branners sold the house to Milton Preston Jarnagin, Sr., the grandson of one of the first settlers of Jefferson County, TN. Milton Jarnagin gave the house the historic name of Glenmore, which came from the name of his first son, Glenmore Jarnagin, who died while a baby. Today, this historic home is used for wedding ceremonies and tours.

A true Victorian treasure, Glenmore Mansion is the only public house museum in Jefferson County, Tennessee. This opulent house was built in 1868 by John Roper Branner.
