Redecorate For The Season In 5 Steps

redecorate

What would you do if we told you that you could accomplish a brighter, happier home in a matter of five steps? You’d probably be interested to hear how that’s even possible, right? We’ve got the steps right here, and we’re confident that you’ll be ecstatic when you see your finished product. Follow along, and be prepared for a new look for your home in a matter of minutes.

Step 1: Flowers

Spring is the time when flowers bloom, so it makes perfect sense to spruce up your living room and kitchen with some fun florals. Faux flowers in a wicker vase can be a cute touch, or a live brightly-colored bunch in a blue vase could add double the color. Another way to incorporate floral into your home is to pick a wall and add some floral wallpaper. This can hide blemishes as well as bring spring right inside.

Step 2: Fruit

Just like flowers, many fruits are in season. Fill a glass bowl with some lemons or bright green apples (or both!) and have a practical and beautiful piece of decor. This is also an affordable way to give every room a little pop or yellow or green. Fruit doesn’t have to just stay in the kitchen!

Step 3: Color

Spring is a season of brightness, so go all out! Paint a wall a new color, add some new yellow or bright blue throw blankets to your couches and chairs, and replace plain vases with lighter, patterned ones. You really can’t go wrong adding a few accent pieces in the colors yellow, purple, bright green, bight blue, and pink!

Step 4: Plants

Pro tip: Lining a window sill or a coffee table with succulents is a great way to incorporate greenery and living plants while also not signing yourself up to water something every day. The more colorful the pots, the better! Mix and match or get them all in different colors.

Step 5: New Books

It’s quite possible that you’ve had the same books sitting on your coffee table since you moved in. Swap out the dusty ones for a fresh set, maybe some with recipes of spring food on the cover, or something with scenery on it. It’ll add some beauty to your display, and also impress your guests with how up-to-date you are.

That’s it, folks! A new home ready for warmer days ahead in just a few steps. Enjoy!
