Just Keep Mowing

If it’s growing, it needs mowing. As long as the temperature hasn’t dropped significantly to where your yard is no longer growing, you should keep mowing it once a week. As we get closer to the winter and temperatures get chilly in Tennessee, you will know it’s time to put the mower up until next season. And when you do so, be sure to winterize your mower and kiss it goodbye until next time.

It Still Needs Water

Don’t forget to water the yard! As long as you are mowing, it also needs routine watering. Your yard should be getting a minimum of one inch of water a week. Depending on where you live and how much it rains during the fall, water accordingly.
